Charlotte Robinson

Charlotte Robinson is Director of Education (Primary) at Acorn Education Trust. 

Charlotte has overall responsibility for quality of education in the Children’s Centre, Trust nurseries and Primary Schools and she is the Primary Curriculum lead. She works collaboratively with the Children’s Centre lead; nursery leads and the 16 Trust Primary Headteachers to help them drive improvement within their schools with the support of the school improvement team.

After graduating from Warwick University with a BA Honours in History, and completing her PGCE, Charlotte worked in four primary schools across the country, gaining valuable teaching and leadership experience and completing her National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). Before joining Acorn Education Trust, Charlotte spent 11 Years as a Headteacher in Wiltshire leading a large Primary school with a resource base. Charlotte has been an executive leader for 4 years and is currently undertaking the National Qualification in Executive Leadership (NPQEL).

Charlotte is a driven leader and puts the children at the heart of all that she does. Leading settings which start with our youngest children who are just babies and covering all ages to the end of the Primary phase. It is her aim that all settings live the Acorn values and prepare children for the next phase of their education in multiple Secondary settings. She is passionate about helping Trust schools work collaboratively together as a family of schools, while retaining their own unique identity and culture. Charlotte works alongside Rob Price (Director of Secondary) to provide the very best for children in all phases of their education.
