Katy Dunnion

Katy brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the education sector, including time in senior leadership roles across both individual schools and multi-academy trusts. With a degree in Business Administration, she offers a deep understanding of operational strategy, school improvement, and organisational development.

Katy leads on business strategy and operations across the Trust. Her work spans the length and breadth of the Trust; she supports HR, administration, Trust wide systems and processes, marketing and website development, alongside providing strategic advice to all central functions.  She also provides senior-level support for our nurseries, and supports primary and secondary operations through weekly meetings, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the Trust.

Katy leads on Trust-wide continuous improvement and system development. Examples of her work include the successful transfer to Arbor in 2023, the development of internal HR processes, and the recent introduction of SAM People. She also provides ongoing support with all Trust-wide systems and software, ensuring operational consistency and strategic alignment across the organisation.

Katy has been integral to the growth the Trust has seen over the last four years, supporting all new schools both pre and post transfer. She also plays a key role in marketing and communications, helping to shape the Trust’s messaging and engagement across its communities.
